The final assignment is open ended. Spend at least an hour reconnecting in whatever way feels good for you. This can be as simple as going for a nature hike/pilgrimage, or something out-of-the-box.
As you engage in the practice this week:
Make a commitment to the earth to continue to connect with the wild in the way you have in the last 12 weeks. The more we spend time in the wild, the more we fall in love with all of Creation :)
Learn the names of the native trees and flowers that grow on the land you share. Honor the land and its history. Honor those whose land you live on.
Practice the ritual of saying thank you to Creator for the extraordinary world we live in.
Honor the trees and plants that take care of us and the squirrels and pollinators that spread the seeds of plants and flowers.
Reconnect to the seasons and to seasonal living that reconnects us to our ancestors, to the earth, and to the world.
Make environmental justice a priority.
AND rediscover your sense of awe and wonder. :)
