Process your relationship with the environment.

Take some time to sit outside or to sit facing a window and make a list of some eco-friendly changes you are committing to make over the course of this next year.

These lists can be personal, for your faith community or place of work, or a combination of both.

As you engage with the wild work, don't just make your list but map out a timeline or steps you can take to making these changes possible.

Reflect on the language that many share that our personal carbon footprints are not big enough to make a difference (as climate change is most significantly in decline due to fossil fuels), but our personal changes are significant because everything small in solidarity adds up, AND because these changes connect us deeper to the environment which moves our advocacy as well.

As you create this list, take time to apologize to the world around you for the harm humans have caused our planet mother. Thank the earth for the way she continues to care for us and her attempts to balance the changes.
