Take time to find a natural body of water. This can be the ocean, a lake, a river, or a stream.

Take a minimum of 30 minutes to sit by this water.
Close your eyes and listen to the sound the water makes as it moves.
What can you smell and taste in the air around this water.
Feel the water, connect with how this water feels against your skin.
Notice all the living things that interact with the water.
Focus on the ways every creature, insect, bird and plant depends on this water.
Notice the colors of the water as it reflects the sky, the sun/moon, the trees, the mountains, etc.
Notice how the water interacts with the rocks and land around it.
Take time to thank the water for the nourishment it gives.
Take time to thank the land for the way it intersects with the water.
Take time to thank Creator for the water that gives so much life.
You can even take time to reconnect to Jesus' baptism into the Jordan River.

Visualize the privilege of accessible clean water. Take time to connect with those without this privilege. Empathize with them. Let this move you into a space of connection, prayer, meditation, or visualizing a world where clean water is accessible for everyone.

End your time placing your bare feet in the water (if possible). You can also put hands in the water or even go for a swim if you want! Close your eyes and let the water wash over you. Allow yourself to feel the awe and wonder of our relationship of the living world.
